At the end of last month, Play on Pedals visited Whiteinch Nursery to deliver training to staff coming from the north west of the city as well as Castlemilk.

Adult bikes and helmets were loaned to participants from our Hero Organisation ‘De’ils on Wheels’, a local bike repair shop working as part of the Dumbarton Road Corridor Environmental Trust.

After practising their balancing skills, the children had a go on the pedal bikes so that staff could see that the development from balance to pedal happens quickly and easily without stabilizers.

One lucky child even got to show his parents his first go on the bike as they arrived just as he started pedalling!
