Play Together on Pedals was launched in Edinburgh in mid June and a new Development Officer has been appointed to roll out the programme throughout the city.
Angie Kinghorn has spent the past 19 years working as an Early Years Practitioner in an East Lothian primary school where as well as working with pre-schoolers, she led the Bikeability training with older children and set up bike maintenance classes and inclusive fitness cycling during PE time.
Angie loves being outdoors and is passionate about teaching children to cycle safely.
“The opportunity to combine the best bits of my previous job with a programme to get more families out, about and confident on bikes was too good to miss. I’m really looking forward to building on the very successful Play on Pedals partnership in Glasgow and giving more Edinburgh pre-schoolers the chance to get pedalling before they start school.”
