Edinburgh July dates

We’re heading outside for the summer with drop in mornings at Saughton Park and Victoria Park.

We also have some bigger bikes at Saughton Park so if your child is a little older and still to get pedalling, bring them along on a Monday or Friday afternoon and we’ll give you some tips on how to get started.

Our Autism Friendly hour is fully booked but you can still use the link below to sign up for our 6+ session at Victoria Park on Sunday 21st July. Please note the change of venue for this as we are unable to access Bangholm on this date.

    1. Hi Denise,

Apologies for the delay in replying.
Most of our learn to ride sessions are for 3-5 year olds but we’re running an over 6s session in Victoria Park on Sunday 21st July.

Alternatively, you can come along to Saughton Park on a Monday or Friday afternoon, borrow a bike and get some tips from us then go for a ride around the park.

      Best wishes,

      Angie

  1. My daughter is a tall 6 year old, she doesn’t yet ride a two wheeler but is very keen to get cycling. Could we just pop along on Monday afternoon? Where about in Saughton park do you meet?

    1. Hi Kirsten,
We can lend your daughter a bike and give some tips on how to get going. We’re at the Fords Road end of the park, just next to the car-park.

  2. Hi there, I have a 4 year old and I am interested in the Victoria Park sessions.
Do we just turn up or do we have to book?
    Thanks so much

    1. Hello,
No need to book. Just turn up any time within the 2 hour slot and stay for as long as you like. For some kids, this is 5 minutes. Others are happy to stay for longer. With the playpark nearby, some children try the bikes for a while, head to the park, then return a little later.
