August in Edinburgh

When the city centre’s bustling with tourists, escape to the parks for some biking fun with your wee ones.

We’ll be in Saughton Park, Victoria Park and Bangholm Outdoor Centre on the days mentioned above, 10am – 12 noon unless otherwise stated. And we’ll be at the Friends of Saughton Park open day on Saturday 31st with our family bikes too, 11am – 4pm.

Just turn up at our sessions for 3-5 year olds. To book for the family ride, please use the link below. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/play-together-on-pedals-family-ride-tickets-69633109505

  1. Hi there,

I have booked my 7year old daughter in for the +6 group running at Bangholm on the 15th September. Do you only need to book 1 ticket, as in 1 per child signing up? Or do you need to book tickets for adults coming along too?

Also, would there be an opportunity for my 5 year old son to get involved on this day or would he need to go along to a drop in session, if so when are the next ones running in Edinburgh please?

    Thank you,
    Jenna

    1. Hi Jenna,

The tickets are for the children who are participating so one ticket is fine.
Can your son already ride a bike? He can certainly come along and join in but as we only run one day a month for older children, priority will be given to the time the instructors spend with them.

We’ll be lending out bikes in Saughton Park on Friday afternoons 1-5pm for all ages and we’ll be there for the open day on 31st.
In September, the plan is for pre-schoolers sessions to be running 10am-12noon at Saughton Park on Saturdays 7th and 21st; at Bangholm along with our family workshop on 8th & on 29th.
These dates are subject to change depending on instructor availability. We’ll publish once they’re confirmed.
