It’s getting wetter and windier so we’re heading indoors for most of our sessions for November.
We’ll be alternating between Castlebrae High School and Pilton Youth and Children’s Project halls on Saturday mornings 10-12.
Hope to see you there!

Afternoon, I’d love to come along to the Pilton sessions with my 3 year old, do I book in advance or just turn up? I also have a 7 year old daughter who can’t ride her bike yet, could she come along to these sessions and if not can you recommend an alternative please?
Thanks, Bel
Hi Bel,
No booking needed. Just turn up at any point between 10 and about 11:30. Generally we recommend that pre-schoolers stay for up to 40 minutes, depending on how tired they get. We also have some bike stories and colouring sheets to do if they need a wee break.
Unfortunately, the hall’s too small for bigger bikes so we’ll only have our small bikes with us. During warmer months (March – October,) we work in local parks around the city where there’s more space for older kids on bigger bikes. Keep an eye on our website and social media to find out where and when we’ll be starting up again in the new year.
Hi do you need to book these sessions and do you need to be there from 10am?

Thank you for getting back to me
Where is it about please
The sessions are at different locations around Edinburgh. PYCP (Pilton Youth and Children’s Project,) is on West Pilton Road. Castlebrae High School is on Greendykes Road in Niddrie/Craigmillar.

Hi there,
My daughter is 5 ( 6 in April) is she too old to participate? She can ride a bike for about 3 seconds!
Thank you,
Julie
3-5 year olds are who the sessions are for. It sounds as if she’s almost got the hang of it and our instructors will be happy to help her to build up her confidence and riding time.
