PTOP Glasgow

Play Together On Pedals was originally established in Glasgow under the name ‘Play on Pedals’. It was a partnership between Cycling UK, Cycling Scotland, Bike for Good (formally Glasgow Bike Station) and Play Scotland. The project was awarded funding by the People’s Postcode Lottery’s ‘Dreamfund’, and set out with the ambition of giving every child the opportunity to learn to cycle before starting school. Fast-forward two years and the project celebrated the milestone of 7,000 children participating.

Since 2017, the project has benefited from the support of Glasgow City Council, who provide funding via the Glasgow Community Cycling Network.  This enables our development officer Marianne to keep engaged with over 100 Glasgow nurseries and run a busy calendar of events and activities.
