  1. Afternoon, I’d love to come along to the Pilton sessions with my 3 year old, do I book in advance or just turn up? I also have a 7 year old daughter who can’t ride her bike yet, could she come along to these sessions and if not can you recommend an alternative please?

    Thanks, Bel

    1. Hi Bel,
No booking needed. Just turn up at any point between 10 and about 11:30. Generally we recommend that pre-schoolers stay for up to 40 minutes, depending on how tired they get. We also have some bike stories and colouring sheets to do if they need a wee break.
Unfortunately, the hall’s too small for bigger bikes so we’ll only have our small bikes with us. During warmer months (March – October,) we work in local parks around the city where there’s more space for older kids on bigger bikes. Keep an eye on our website and social media to find out where and when we’ll be starting up again in the new year.

  2. Hi there,

My daughter is 5 ( 6 in April) is she too old to participate? She can ride a bike for about 3 seconds!

    Thank you,
    Julie

    1. 3-5 year olds are who the sessions are for. It sounds as if she’s almost got the hang of it and our instructors will be happy to help her to build up her confidence and riding time.
